Modernisation of the End-of-Day Procedure in the FORPOST System

11 July 2008

Increasing range of banking services and a growing number of bank customers result in a large quantity of automated operations, performed in the end of the banking day.

Reacting to the banks’ requests on the subject of the constantly growing duration of the end-of-day procedure, the Forbis Company has initiated the project aimed at modernisation of the procedure in FORPOST.

After having implemented the changes, the banks will be able to flexibly manage end-of-day procedures in the FORPOST banking information system, by simultaneously performing non-interrelated banking operations, and by forming complex scenarios of process launching at each branch’s level. The duration of the end-of-day procedure will be significantly reduced in the banks using BIS FORPOST. It will enable the banks not only to ensure uninterruptible operating activities, but will also allow increasing the number of automated operations as well as quickening execution of customer servicing operations.
