CheckFree Corporation (Nasdaq: CKFR) today announced its unique Applied Operational IntelligenceSM approach to driving profitability and performance for financial services institutions and other corporations worldwide.

“Our Applied Operational Intelligence approach empowers clients to drive profitability and performance and defines how CheckFree helps solve their business problems,” said Randy McCoy, executive vice president and general manager of CheckFree Software. “The solution that CheckFree delivers through its Applied Operational Intelligence approach allows our clients to better manage risk and efficiency, more accurately measure return on their investments and ultimately increase profitability.”

The Applied Operational Intelligence approach channels valuable operational intelligence back to the business through CheckFree’s innovative solutions, industry expertise, collaborative partnership approach, and core competencies of reconciliation, exception management, transaction process management, corporate actions processing, payments processing, risk management and compliance.

“The application of operational intelligence to a customer’s business opportunities embodies a total customer approach to solving problems, which demonstrates that the vendor understands its clients’ markets, business issues and requirements,” said Maggie Scarborough, research manager at Financial Insights. “CheckFree can leverage its industry-focused application and analytics technology for its customers across transaction types and processes – combined with its Six Sigma foundation, the approach should produce business process excellence.”

“CheckFree believes that its Applied Operational Intelligence approach for optimised performance can provide a strategic advantage for our clients. The approach helps reduce losses from transactional errors while increasing the efficiency of financial control activity, resulting in lower operating costs, more time to address potential losses and greater transparency of positions and processing overheads.

At Sibos, CheckFree will be showcasing the latest versions of its SWIFTReady-accredited solutions, Accurate NXGTM, for reconciliation and exception management, the CheckFree TradeFlowTM solution for transaction process management and the CheckFree eVentTM solution for corporate actions processing.

The AFP show will showcase the Accurate NXG solution as well as CheckFree’s ACH processing and advanced positive pay processing solutions.
