HONOLULU, July 13, 2001- Kamakura Corporation, the Honolulu-based provider of risk information, processing and software, announced today that Daihan Investment & Trust Co. in Seoul has purchased the Kamakura Risk Manager KRM-var software market risk software suite. Daihan Investment & Trust Co. is one of the leading securities firms in Korea. DITC is Kamakura’s fifth client in Korea. Unisys Korea Limited is providing systems integration services for the Kamakura software at DITC, the fourth time that Unisys Korea has implemented the Kamakura system. Other clients of Kamakura in Korea include Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Daewoo Securities, Oriental Fire & Marine Insurance, and the Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives.
