Profidata – Software and Services for Solvency II Implementation

Profidata offers a range of services to support the controlling of capital investments in the implementation of Solvency II. The results of the analysis of current and future directive requirements are incorporated in the parameterisation and the further development of XENTIS as well as in the integration of the actuarial liabilities side and financial accounting. Based on XENTIS, Profidata is able to provide comprehensive and sophisticated services that will significantly reduce the effort associated with implementing Solvency II.

Risk Analysis

• Calculation of effective market and default risk criteria for the determination of the MCR and SCR

Process Consulting

• In collaboration with itechx – Asset Management Xperts, a consulting and software company of the Profidata Group, risk management and compliance processes are first analysed and the Solvency II standards realised subsequently

Reporting

• In addition to the QRT required under Solvency II (Assets, SCR und BS), Profidata can generate internal risk and test reports
• Data assignment and QRT contents are continuously improved in accordance with QIS requirements

 

IT SERVICES

Data Management

• Derivation of Solvency II specific classifications using standardised business rules
• Availability of specific detail data
• Consolidation and aggregation of internally and externally delivered data
• Validation, transparency and error monitoring of data

Interfacing

• All interfaces for data import/export, including mapping, are set up and maintained by Profidata

 

IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES

Iterative Project Management

• In XENTIS, external data can be combined with existing data and the relevant QRTs completed in an initial phase; SCR and MCR calculations can be implemented right from the start or in a second phase

• Specification of the market requirements in collaboration with Versicherungsforen Leipzig – know-how service providers for the insurance industry, acting as an interface between sciences, IT and practice

• Verification of the calculation base and analysis of the individual interpretation of the directives in close cooperation with the clients
