Liberis has introduced a new multi-product platform designed to provide personalised, embedded finance solutions for small businesses. The platform offers flexible funding options, helping SMEs manage cash flow and access capital more efficiently through advanced data insights.
Liberis, a global provider of embedded finance solutions, has launched a new multi-product platform aimed at delivering more tailored financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This platform, designed to offer flexible funding solutions through its partners, represents a significant step forward in addressing the financial needs of small businesses.
The move comes as demand for embedded finance continues to grow, particularly among SMEs facing frequent cash flow challenges. According to recent report, 44% of small businesses experience cash flow issues up to four times a year, with 72% of those using embedded lending services reporting a positive impact on their operations.
Liberis’ platform, which operates in over 13 markets, allows its partners to offer automated financial solutions through a single API. By integrating cash flow insights from partner platforms, Liberis is able to provide SMEs with personalised funding options, including Flexible Financing and Business Cash Advances. This data-driven approach enables Liberis to deliver more relevant and timely financial products to small businesses across various industries.
The company’s CEO, Rob Straathof, emphasised the importance of the new platform in addressing the needs of underserved small businesses.
“Small business owners have been underserved by traditional banks for far too long. This vision allows us and our partners to play a critical role in shaping the future of small businesses worldwide, enabling them to thrive, not just survive,” Straathof said.
Small businesses, which represent 90% of the global business population, are key drivers of economic growth, accounting for a significant portion of employment and GDP in developed economies. By providing faster, more accessible financial solutions, Liberis aims to support this sector’s continued growth and contribution to the economy.
The platform also features pre-approved funding options based on real-time cash flow data, a tool aimed at reducing rejection rates for small business owners seeking finance. This capability, powered by artificial intelligence, enables Liberis’ partners to offer SMEs a seamless experience, providing funding in seconds.
Nima Montazeri, Chief Product Officer at Liberis, noted that the platform was developed in response to feedback from small business customers.
“With the combination of historical and real-time data, we can derive insights allowing us to expand our product vision to include products small businesses need. These insights allow us to serve our partners with the right products for their customers, at the right time,” Montazeri commented.
With the introduction of its multi-product platform, Liberis is positioning itself to play a larger role in the embedded finance space, offering small businesses the financial tools needed to manage cash flow, drive growth, and create lasting economic impact.
