InfoComp, the leading provider of administration software for the Wealth Management sector, has announced it will integrate Composer with the External Platform Interface (EPI) standards jointly released recently by Coin and IWL subsidiary, VisiPlan.
The External Platform Interface (EPI) standards are said to provide a common protocol for transfer of information between platforms and front-end software.
Rob DeDominicis, founding partner and CEO of InfoComp stated, “We are delighted to be working with the Adviser Software providers in their attempt to make the EPI standards the industry standards.
“All Wealth Management providers aim to disseminate data to their financial advisers in an efficient and cost effective manner and we are happy to work to this goal through the integration of Composer with adviser desktops using the EPI standards.”
He said doing so would provide significant efficiency benefits for clients of Composer who provide data to financial planners.
Tony Graham, Managing Director of Coin, said, “It is great to see another leading industry player like InfoComp embracing the EPI standards.
“The breadth of interest from the industry in the new standards has been phenomenal and that’s great because it was always the intention to keep the standards open and non-proprietary.”
