ThetaRay, a leading provider of big data analytics solutions, today announced the appointment of Benjamin Wyrick to Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas. Wyrick has 20 years of experience in financial services sales, business development and marketing.

Before joining ThetaRay, Wyrick served as VP Sales, North America for VASCO Data Security. He also has held senior sales positions with Digital Insight, Kronos and Verizon. Wyrick has degrees in Sociology and Marketing from Ball State University.

Wyrick and his team will be responsible for increasing market share for ThetaRay’s Financial Services Platform, which enables financial institutions to uncover the earliest signs of illicit behavior and threats, including multichannel fraud, money laundering, and ATM security breaches. ThetaRay’s technology can analyze complex data sets at scale without rules, settings, thresholds, heuristics, signatures, or patterns. It delivers industry-low error and false positive rates, and becomes more accurate with each unit of data it receives.
