Wincor Nixdorf selects AutoRek to provide reconciliation services

Wincor Nixdorf, a leading retail and banking IT solutions provider, has selected AutoRek to provide reconciliation services for a new contract it has secured with a major retail bank. Under the terms of this contract, AutoRek will complement Wincor Nixdorf’s comprehensive IT solutions by providing a system that reconciles the bank’s ATM network cash as it moves through the cash cycle from the initial order, to delivery to the ATM and cash being re-banked. AutoRek will also be responsible for providing a general ledger each day to support the bank’s accounting processes.

Wincor Nixdorf recognised the need to partner with a specialist to deliver the reconciliation services required under the terms of the contract and went out to tender to assess potential solutions. A number of companies entered a proof of concept phase to demonstrate their capabilities before AutoRek was selected thanks to its experience, its ability to facilitate a controlled and audited environment and its understanding of the customer’s needs.
