New partnership opens Ablrate to more lenders
Ablrate, the marketplace lender who specialising in asset backed transactions, today announces a partnership with the investUP (known as ‘UP') platform.
As crowdfunding continues to grow rapidly, UP will help its partner crowdfunding sites develop by focusing on marketing the deals, in effect enabling the crowdfunding partners to concentrate on getting more and better deals on to their platforms. In turn, investors will benefit from access to a superior choice and quality of potential investments via their centralised UP portfolio.
James Tuckett, Managing Director at investUP, said: "We live in an age where crowdfunders are demanding more and more deals, yet are faced with a myriad of crowdfunding site choices. Looking for a single crowdfunding site to start a portfolio can be difficult and time consuming. We take the view that, as the crowdfunding supermarket, crowdfunders using our platform should be able to lend and invest in deals from all the key players across the entire market. We are very excited to introduce our newest partner and look forward to delivering the highest quality of investments to our current and future users."
Ablrate CEO, David Bradley-Ward, said "We have had a resistance to being available on aggregating platforms such as UP, but after discussions with the team we found that they are very keen to add something to the value chain beyond just listing loans. This is a very important criteria for us as marketplace lending is all about disintermediation and the delayering of the financial services industry. Working with UP will expose our platform to their registered users and give them access to our asset backed transactions, not just in aircraft but all of the categories we have and will be launching when our new platform goes live in April. We look forward to working with the UP team."
