GoldenSource and Intalus announce strategic partnership

London and Frankfurt - 10 March 2015

New partnership will develop a connection to WM Datenservice VF1, accelerating EDM adoption across the DACH region

GoldenSource, the leading independent provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions for the securities and investment industry, announced today a business partnership with Intalus, a global IT consultancy firm specializing in the development, delivery and training of financial solutions. The two firms are collaborating to provide the most comprehensive WM connection available in the EDM market.

GoldenSource has long been the industry benchmark for vendor feed management services. In partnership with Intalus, GoldenSource is broadening this service by developing a fully maintained connection for WM Datenservice VF1, which will enable clients to automatically load WM data into GoldenSource's market-leading EDM applications.

Massimo Broggi, GoldenSource EMEA Head of Sales said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Intalus on the development of a fully maintained connection to WM Datenservice VF1. We look forward to offering this new service to new and existing clients in Europe. Germany is a key region for GoldenSource and we’re pleased to be closing this gap in our Connections offering.”

Klaus A. Wobbe, CEO of the Intalus Group, added: “In most financial institutions data is spread across multiple departments and systems. Instead of a central source of data, entities have their own nomenclature and data sources piled in silos and redundant, outdated systems. It’s inefficient from a cost perspective but can also lead to inconsistencies. We are convinced that GoldenSource provides an optimal solution to these issues and look forward to working closely together with them to improve the financial reference data landscape.”
