Temenos customer builds on product experience and certified partner status to offer bank led implementations
Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the market-leading provider of mission-critical solutions to the financial services industry, today announces that its customer, MCB Group Ltd. (MCB) has, through its consulting arm, MCB Consulting Services Ltd. (MCB Consulting), become an accredited Temenos services partner, and will offer consulting services and lead sales initiatives across Africa and in parts of Asia Pacific on Temenos products. This makes MCB Consulting the first Temenos services partner to evolve from a bank environment that uses its software, to support the implementation of its banking peers.
Given MCB Consulting’s involvement in multiple core banking system transformation programmes, and implementations in numerous countries, this partnership will allow customers to work with a services partner who has a complete understanding of its implementation requirements. MCB Consulting currently implements and upgrades its own instances of T24 and Temenos’ business intelligence solution, Insight, across various sites of the MCB Group, adding additional expertise to the services it will be offering. Furthermore, Temenos has chosen MCB Consulting to be a member of its centre of excellence for Insight, a forum to develop product knowledge, advocate best practices and support Temenos partners in delivery.
Mauritius Commercial Bank has been a customer of Temenos since 2007, when it purchased T24, Temenos’ best-selling core banking platform*, to support its 40 branches in Mauritius and over 1 million customer accounts.
