Edgbaston Investment Partners has selected Indata's Intelligent Portfolio Management (iPM) platform and the program is now live.
The London-based boutique investment firm focuses on long-only Asia Pacific - excluding Japan - equities and was in need of a robust solution that offers more automation than their previous platform and wider compliance capabilities.
Matthew Myles, chief operating officer of Edgbaston Investment Partners, said: "The nature of our business requires us to demonstrate a complete audit capability for our entire investment process for compliance and regulatory purposes."
The iPM service deploys on a front-to-back office basis and Edgbaston Investment Partners will be provided with a single and complete audit trail capability of the entire investment process.
This includes fund/account onboarding, investment decision making, trade generation, trade execution and settlement, as well as ongoing client servicing functions related to the management of the entire portfolio.
Much of the software systems available on the market only involve a limited area of the investment process and do not have a unified audit trail implemented.
