At the IASA Educational Conference and Business Show, Instec, a leading provider of policy administration services and technology to the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, today announced the introduction and immediate availability of Quicksolver Connect™. With Quicksolver Connect, Instec has leveraged its 30 years of experience integrating software to provide insurers a virtual shopping mall of pre-integrated, web-deployed software components, enabling a fully integrated best-of-breed core processing platform to meet each insurer’s specific needs.
Designed specifically for the P&C insurance market, Quicksolver Connect is built around Instec’s proven Quicksolver platform and enables solution developers to choose from a wide-range of applications for every aspect of policy administration--including billing, claims, business intelligence, analytics, risk data and more.
Utilizing pre-integrated connectors, insurers are able to create a continually evolving policy administration platform by picking and choosing components as building blocks, resulting in a customized solution to meet their specific needs.
The Quicksolver Connect inventory is comprised of connectors for Instec alliance partners solutions -- solutions required to meet Instec’s rigorous standards, are tested for compatibility and performance, and are recertified regularly.
With the introduction of Quicksolver Connect, Instec has completed its Quicksolver product vision to offer the platform through a range of delivery options to best fit each insurer client’s preferences for both product and delivery:
• Quicksolver Enterprise – Traditional on premise implementation
• Quicksolver Cloud – Cloud deployment in Microsoft Azure
• Quicksolver Studio – Product configuration management tool
• Quicksolver Inside – Black Box version used to power partner solution
• Quicksolver Connect – App store of platform components
“We are very excited to introduce Connect as yet another Quicksolver option to give insurers a true best of breed approach to their processing needs,” Bill Budde, CPCU, and VP of Sales and Marketing for Instec. “As the industry continually changes, so do each insurer’s needs. As a result, they need to have an operating environment that can easily adapt and evolve over time. That is the design philosophy behind Quicksolver --- providing not just the functionality needed to manage the business, but also the flexibility to easily integrate components and choose the delivery method that is most appropriate. If we know one thing in insurance, it’s that nothing is constant. Being able to change with the times is critical to insurers remaining competitive and profitable.”
Instec’s flagship policy lifecycle management solution, Quicksolver, includes P&C insurance rating and policy administration; multi-state, multi-location support; and bureau and company-specific policy processing for all 50 states and all major commercial lines of business.
