Focus Solutions, the leading provider of software and consultancy solutions to the global financial services industry, is pleased to announce focus:progress, their T&C and CPD portal, has received its annual CPD accreditation renewal from the CII, the professional body dedicated to insurance and financial services.
The annual review process included an assessment of:
- the functionality of the site
- sample learning material and assessments
- testimonials from users of the site
Glowing feedback from Tamsin Mills FCII, Director of CII Accreditation Services, described focus:progress as: ‘useful, well structured, easy to use and comprehensive, with the quality of learning clearly demonstrated from customer reviews.’
Focus also received official recognition from the Institute of Financial Services for the educational content within focus:progress. The Institute of Financial Services is an FCA Accredited Body and is recognised as an awarding organisation by Ofqual. It supports and promotes professionalism in the regulated advice sector and the wider financial services industry. The content and question banks for focus:progress are written to QCF Level 4 and benchmarked to ApEx standards. Anne Kiem, Chief Executive of the Institute of Financial Services stated: ‘The Institute of Financial Services is committed to helping advisers recognise CPD provision which is sufficiently challenging and effective enough to meet the FCA requirements for retaining a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). As such, the Institute was delighted to award the focus:progress CPD programme formal recognition in meeting these requirements.’
