Richard Houghton has joined the board of Target Group as Chairman. Target is a leading provider of financial services software and business process outsourcing.
With 20 years’ experience in senior management roles, Richard brings a strong track record of business development and growth to Target.
In 1999 he was a founder of Xchanging plc, the business process and technology services provider and integrator. For over 10 years he held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer, and more recently Chief Financial Officer. Over this period Xchanging grew from a start-up to achieve annual revenues of over £700 million. He led the successful floatation of the business on the London Stock Exchange in 2007.
Prior to this Richard was Divisional Chief Executive of Caradon plc which he joined following a period at McKinsey & Company.
He has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and achieved his MBA at Harvard.
