Prestigious recognition reflects company’s European growth
SIX Payment Services Ltd, a leading provider of innovative solutions along the entire value chain of cashless payments, today announces its ranking on the FinTech 100. The FinTech 100 is an annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors that derive more than one third of their revenue from the financial technology industry, as named by American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights.
SIX Payment Services is ranked 46th, up from 70th, on the list of financial technology companies judged according to global revenues. This attests to the company’s stability and importance to the industry.
“We have made the biggest move forward in the rankings. This illustrates the increasing importance of SIX Payment Services in the global financial services market and impressively confirms our growth strategy,” said Niklaus Santschi, CEO SIX Payment Services.
The significant growth of SIX Payment Services is partially attributable to expansion into the emerging markets, particularly in East European countries. In addition, payments transaction fields within SIX were consolidated under a single management. Furthermore, this year, with PayLife, it completed the largest card migration project in Europe and transferred it to daily operations.
