LexisNexis® Risk Solutions have introduced LexisNexis® Insurance Exchange mobile application, an on-the-go application to provide agent and broker members with 24/7 access to critical information. The application is live and is intended to help members increase responsiveness and new business opportunities.
While many business tools require users to be attached to a computer or laptop, this new offering from LexisNexis takes into account the increasingly on-the-go nature of workers in the insurance industry. The LexisNexis Insurance Exchange is dedicated to connecting producers, marketers, customer service representatives, management and customers for seamless collaboration. This connectivity is extended through the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange mobile application through which members can gain access from any compatible mobile device to submission activity, message teammates, tag notes and most importantly stay informed from any location at any time.
“Mobile capability is becoming table-stakes in insurance. Many companies have implemented basic look up and simple messaging capabilities,” said Mike Fitzgerald, senior analyst, Celent. “Leading firms are beginning to move beyond inquiry and provide transaction processing on an ‘anytime, anyplace’ basis. Expanding service to a mobile platform makes insurers more accessible to their customers and provides a differentiated offering in what is a competitive, many times commoditized, industry.”
“Staying connected is necessary and extraordinarily important when trying to close a deal,” said Clyde Owen, General Manager, LexisNexis Insurance Exchange. “The Insurance Exchange mobile offering helps our expanding network of agents and brokers stay connected, stay informed and make decisions more easily from lead to close.”
Agents and brokers can access the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange mobile application using the web address or downloading it from the Apple® App Store to access client information, access client submission history, and identify and contact key submission participants. The application also allows participants to obtain real-time submission status including: draft, submitted, quoted, bound, issued, declined and closed applications. Individuals can check on status details such as declination reasons, subjectivities and quote amounts, access all quotes for a submission with just a couple of taps and review all quote documents.
Individuals must be a LexisNexis Insurance Exchange agent/broker member with a valid user identification and password to access this application.
