Creates Industry’s First Algo Optimization Service Bureau Powered by Artificial Intelligence.
Portware, the leading provider of global, broker-neutral, multi-asset trading solutions, today announced it has completed its acquisition of the technology and analytical assets of Aritas Group, Inc. The acquisition also includes a portfolio of seventeen patents covering Aritas’ predictive analytics and algorithmic optimization technology.
Aritas’ Alpha Pro and Algorithmic Switching Engine have been rebranded as Portware Alpha Vision, and are immediately available to all industry participants. Offered in partnership with the brokerage community, Alpha Vision provides buy-side institutions with superior execution quality, end-to-end workflow automation and powerful commission optimization tools, allowing clients to significantly improve trading performance while maintaining and enhancing broker relationships.
Portware Alpha Vision is the first and only algorithmic optimization solution that uses predictive analytics to automatically select and implement the optimal execution strategy. It dynamically switches between algorithms and adjusts to changing market conditions in real-time to maximize alpha capture while minimizing impact costs, adverse selection and the impact of HFT strategies. Alpha Vision’s innovative sponsored execution model allows traders to direct order flow to the brokers of their choice, giving the sponsoring broker full credit for volumes and commissions.
“This type of artificial intelligence provides an unprecedented level of automation that will help any user improve trading efficiencies, enhance execution quality and optimize commissions. With Alpha Vision, Portware has taken automated trading to a new level, helping transform the way the industry analyzes, communicates and executes investment ideas,” said Alfred Eskandar, CEO, Portware.
Eskandar continued, “The response we’ve received since we announced this new model has been overwhelming. Four top-tier global investment banks and several regional brokers are participating, and multiple clients are already live on the system, including leading pension funds, asset managers and hedge funds.”
