Boston

Glen Darby joins Barclays Wealth as a Director and an Investment Representative from Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group, bringing over 28 years of experience to the firm. Mr. Darby joined Merrill Lynch in 1983, where he specialized in serving ultra high net worth individuals including corporate executives, venture capitalists and hedge fund managers. Mr. Darby holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College in Maine.

Matthew Grady has also been hired as a Director and an Investment Representative from Old North Advisors, where in his role as CEO he successfully led the spin-off of the discretionary asset management business from Federal Street Advisors. Mr. Grady has 16 years experience in delivering investment and planning advice to high net worth families, endowments and foundations. He holds a B.A. from Assumption College in Massachusetts. Mr. Grady serves on the board of directors for Tyler Foundation, Inc.

Mr. Darby and Mr. Grady report to Marty Courage, Regional Manager for Boston.

New York

Jerrid Douglas joins Barclays Wealth as a Director and an Investment Representative from Citi Private Bank. Mr. Douglas has 15 years of wealth management experience. Prior to joining Citi Private Bank in 2006, he worked at Bank of America and Colombia Management Group. He holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Douglas serves as chairman of the board of directors for Newark Community Health Centers. He is also a board member and president of the New Jersey Chapter of 100 Black Men of America.

Andrew Leventhal has also joined Barclays Wealth as a Director and an Investment Representative from Credit Suisse Private Banking. Mr. Leventhal brings over 15 years of industry experience to his new role. At Credit Suisse which he joined in 2001, Mr. Leventhal was a private banker serving high-net-worth individuals and families, family offices and foundations. Prior to this he held investment banking roles at CIBC Capital Markets and Bear Stearns. Mr. Leventhal Holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A from Boston University.

Mr. Douglas and Mr. Leventhal report to Mark Stevenson, Regional Manager for New York.

Dallas

Michele Huff Powell joins Barclays Wealth from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, with two and a half decades of experience advising high net worth individuals and families. At her predecessor firm, which Ms. Powell joined in 1986, she was responsible for the integrated delivery of wealth management services to clients, in particular, wealth structuring, investment management and private banking services. Ms. Powell received a B.S. and an M.B.A. from West Virginia University and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst(SM) (CIMA®) designation. She serves as a board director for Lakehill Preparatory School in Dallas.

Ms. Powell reports to Steve Head, Regional Manager for Texas.

Miami

Earlier this month, Barclays Wealth announced the appointment of Narciso Munoz as Director and Investment Representative, based in the Miami office. Mr. Munoz joined from HSBC's International Private Bank, bringing over 17 years of wealth management experience serving ultra-high-net worth Latin American families and individuals. During the past seven years at HSBC, Mr. Munoz focused on the Argentine market. Prior to HSBC he spent ten years at BankBoston in Argentina where he worked with individual and institutional clients. Mr. Munoz is a CFA charterholder and has a B.B.A. from Universidad Catolica Argentina and an M.P.S. from Universidad del CEMA, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mr. Munoz reports to Richard Hutchison, Director, Barclays Wealth.
