The Gazelle companies are named each year by Swedenâs premier financial newspaper Dagens Industri, based on strictly-judged criteria for growth and profitability. Dagens Industri concluded, âThe difficult economic environment has meant this year we named the lowest number of companies since the inception of the award 11 years ago. Only 624 companies qualified, which is less than half the number of two years ago. So for companies to be named Gazelles this year really shows they are excelling despite the challenges they face.â
Thomas Bergqvist, Partner, at SkySparc said: âWe are extremely proud of this award and grateful to our clients for their strong endorsement of our fast growing managed support services.â
Mattias Sandström, Partner, at SkySparc said: âWe are fortunate to have a rapidly growing team of dedicated personnel servicing our global client base. SkySparc receiving the Gazelle award for the second year in a row is really thanks to our teamâs hard work, commitment and high quality service to our clients.â
Dagens Industri elects Gazelle companies every year and the following criteria must be fulfilled in order to qualify:
⢠Doubling of turnover from 2007 to 2010.
⢠Increased turnover every year for the past three years.
⢠Total operating results for the period must be positive.
⢠Growth is "organic" and not through mergers or acquisition.
⢠Company must have solid finances.
