GlobeOp wins best managed accounts services award for second year – HFMWeek US Hedge Fund Services Awards

New York - 24 October 2011

Cited by the judges as “significantly ahead of the competition [and] providing a quality and precise service” GlobeOp Financial Services (LSE:GO.) was named best administrator for managed accounts in the HFMWeek US Hedge Fund Services Awards for the second consecutive year.

George Evans, global head of business development at GlobeOp said, “Investor interest in the capital controls and portfolio transparency offered by managed accounts continues to rise. Supporting managed account relationships requires significant infrastructure and coordination by managers, investors and administrators. We are honored by this independent recognition of our managed account services.”

GlobeOp serves approximately 250 managed account clients - both funds and investors. The offering includes independent middle and back office services, risk analytics and daily in-depth data reporting. Funds and investors are both able to monitor individual and aggregated fund performance, operational controls and risk reporting.

GlobeOp outperformed six other shortlisted firms to capture the 2011 award. Judged by a panel of independent industry experts, the 2011 HFMWeek US Awards acknowledged companies that demonstrated innovation, customer satisfaction, ability to compete and revenue growth.

Other recent GlobeOp industry awards include, ‘Best North American Hedge Fund Administrator’ (Hedgeweek) and, also for the second consecutive year, ‘Best Administration Technology’ (HFMWeek European Hedge Fund Services Awards).

In 2010 GlobeOp won or was a finalist for 11 international awards for fund administration, managed accounts, technology and data center facilities.
