Verizon Recognized for Best Practice at 2011 Institute of Credit Management Awards

Reading, England - 24 May 2011

Verizon has won a key award at the 2011 Institute of Credit Management Awards ceremony. The company was awarded ICM's prestigious Best Practice Award in recognition of its industry-leading credit management processes and the positive impact they have on Verizon's business success.

The ICM awards, which highlight the contribution of credit professionals to business performance, are granted following a rigorous, anonymous judging process. The ICM, Europe's largest credit management organization, represents the profession across trade, consumer and export credit, and all credit-related services.

Dominique Gaillard, Verizon's executive director of international finance operations, said: "This award recognizes the ongoing efforts of Verizon's U.K.-based team to develop a best-practice credit environment, in terms of both their own professional development and customer service initiatives. It's a great accolade for the team's hard work, and a worthy recognition of the positive impact best-practice credit management can have on overall business performance."
