Excelian Confirmed as One of the UK’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Tech Companies

21 September 2010

Specialist financial IT consultancy Excelian has consolidated its place as one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies with its listing in the 10th annual Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100, published on 18 September 2010.

This is the fourth consecutive year the company has been listed among Britain’s 100 privately-owned technology companies with the fastest-growing sales. Excelian’s number 97 placement comes in addition to its number 63 listing in the sister Sunday Times HSBC International Track table, published on 11 July 2010.

Excelian’s figures speak for themselves. The company has achieved annual sales growth over the past 3 years of 35.20% with 2009 sales of £13,318,000. International sales have grown 61.49% in the last two years alone. Staff numbers now top 200 and the company operates out of 10 countries with four regional hubs (London, Melbourne, Johannesburg and a satellite presence in New York). This month (September 2010) saw the company open an additional office in Sydney to help address the accelerating demand for its services across the APAC region.

Founder and CEO Adrian Marshall commented “It’s fantastic to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading technical success stories yet again, particularly after nearly a decade in business. Our markets, products and service ranges all continue to expand. We are also currently bringing to market innovative developments such as Grid as a Service (GaaS – a cloud-like solution for investment banks) and a suite of SMART (Systems Migration Analysis and Regression Testing) tools. These are already proving tremendously successful so we firmly expect to be in the table again in 2011.”
