Hong Kong - 29 October 2010

Moody's Analytics, a global leader in risk management solutions, announced today that its liquidity risk solution took first place in a poll by Asia Risk magazine of its readers.

Responses from risk practitioners to Asia Risk's Technology Rankings 2010 survey identified Moody's Analytics as the top provider of liquidity risk management solutions.

Additionally, Moody's Analytics was recognized as one of the top three solution providers for Asset and Liability Management, Economic Capital Calculation and Management, and Regulatory Capital Calculation and Management.

Asia Risk is a leading Hong Kong-based publication for risk and derivatives professionals in Asia, and this year"s survey was the fifth in the series.

"We're pleased and appreciative that Asia Risk's readers have recognized our liquidity risk solutions, ranking them number one," says Jodi Alperstein, Managing Director of Product Management and Marketing at Moody's Analytics.

"Liquidity risk regulations continue to tighten, especially under the proposed Basel III regulations, placing greater pressure on the abilities of our clients to calculate, test and report their liquidity positions. Our continued investment and innovation in our liquidity solutions are helping our clients meet these regulatory challenges, and gain a greater understanding into their unique liquidity risk sources," adds Alperstein.

Asia Risk magazine says, "Moody"s Analytics topped the Liquidity Risk Management category, came second in the Economic Capital Calculation and Management and Asset and Liability Management categories, and third in the Regulatory Capital Calculation and Management category. Regulatory compliance has been a particularly strong suit for this vendor.

Asia Risk polled end-users within banks, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies and corporate treasuries throughout the world's financial markets. Categories spanned Enterprise Risk Management, Liquidity Risk, Economic and Regulatory Capital, Asset and Liability Management, as well as Operational Risk.
