Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS), a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, today announced that its Investment Management Group (IMG) Client Support and Professional Services organizations have achieved certification under the Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Standards. Advent is the only financial services software firm to achieve certification in both client support and professional services.
The SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of customer support and services based upon a stringent set of performance criteria and represents best practices in the industry. Advent achieved certification after extensive audits of its San Francisco, CA support and services centers. It is the fifth straight year that IMG Client Support achieved certification under the program, and the second year for IMG Professional Services.
âAchieving this prestigious certification underscores Adventâs commitment to constantly improving the quality of the client experience,â said Chad Williams, Vice President of IMG Services, Support and Renewals. âAs the SCP benchmarks are raised each year, our client support and professional services teams continually strive to meet and exceed these standards, while delivering the highest levels of operational performance, reliability and customer satisfaction. Programs such as SCP serve as a framework for continuous improvement and are critical to our success.â
âAdvent has proven to be driven by exceptional technological competency and an unwavering focus on the success of their customers,â said Greg Coleman, Vice President of Strategic Programs for Service Strategies, administrators of the SCP Standards program. âThe aggressive adoption of industry standards as a framework for continuous improvement, coupled with the ongoing certification of their integrated services organization, is evidence of the companyâs commitment to service excellence.â
The SCP Support and Professional Services Standards are part of a suite of service capability and performance standards designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations. A consortium of leading technology companies and Service Strategies Corporation created the internationally recognized standards, which define best practices for delivering world-class technology service and support, quantify performance levels and establish a framework for continuous improvement. Certified companies must continue to demonstrate their commitment to excellence and high performance standards through annual certification audits.
