Finantix launches android apps for wealth management

30 June 2010

Wealth management applications will allow investors and financial advisors using Android phones to access portfolio information and financial alerts.

Finantix is launching applications for financial advisors and individual investors that will natively run on Android smartphones. The functionality provided includes client position, portfolio analytics, risk and compliance alerts, and rich client communication.

Easy to use, the Android applications feature extremely strong security with 24/7 continuous operation. They are designed for easy integration on top of existing wealth management solutions.

Alessandro Tonchia, founder and director of Finantix, comments on the launch. "We are impressed with the openness and power of the Android platform: These characteristics explain the astonishing adoption rate Android is enjoying. The new apps confirm our commitment to a multi-device wealth management architecture. We want to give our clients maximum flexibility: After iPhone, iPad and now Android, we will soon add Blackberry support."

The Android apps complement the Finantix wealth management suite, which is recognised by analysts as one of the leading solutions in both the mass affluent and high net worth segments.

Finantix software is explicitly architected for multi-channel and multi-device delivery. It is used by advisors, private bankers, clients, branch employees and call centre agents. In addition to Android, the solution also supports Web, Flash, iPhone and iPad within a single implementation.
