During the implementation extra functionalities were added to the Comarch Life Insurance solution arising from the Credit Agricole Life Insurance Europe Polish Branch business needs. Thus, the scope of the project covered: product definition, applications and policies administration, individual fund accounts management, insurance claims management, settlements, sales structure management, commission and provisions, client management.
The product portfolio includes structured and savings products, as well as life insurance and unit-linked policies, which were implemented by Comarch during the project. Moreover, Comarch Life Insurance enables CALI Europe Polish Branch to define new insurance products and use new distribution channels.
Along with the implementation of the life insurance policy administration system Comarch implemented the Oracle E-Business Suite and started hosting the hardware infrastructure with a Disaster Recovery Center option.
During the vendor assessment process, Credit Agricole Life Insurance Europe Polish Branch took into account Comarch's experience in the life insurance business, extensive know-how of the Polish insurance market, comprehensive offer of IT products and services, proved on the Polish market. The main benefits of the Comarch Life Insurance solution included high configuration abilities allowing the customer to define new insurance products, and the functionality supporting effective integration with all banking partners of Credit Agricole Life Insurance Europe Polish Branch.
