Broadridge Provides Front and Back-Office Solutions for Over 1,500 Manulife Advisors

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) today announced that Canadian broker-dealer, Manulife Securities Inc. (a division of Manulife Financial) has successfully implemented Broadridge’s Dataphile solution for over 1,500 advisors in both its securities and mutual funds business segments.

Manulife Securities acquired dealer Berkshire-TWC Financial Group in June of 2007, and after extensive due diligence, selected Broadridge’s Dataphile solution as its choice of platform for consolidating the two businesses. Manulife Securities will leverage Broadridge’s Dataphile solution to implement an integrated back-office, order management system, and robust advisor workstation to support its expanding business and diversified service model.

The Broadridge team was able to provide the conversion and implementation expertise needed to minimize risk and disruption during the transition process,” they added.

Although securities and mutual fund dealers are separately regulated entities in Canada, Broadridge’s Dataphile solution has the unique capacity to support both businesses on a single platform, enabling Manulife to effectively consolidate its business and achieve enterprise-wide efficiencies and scalability.
