DST International opens new office in Jakarta

DST International (DSTi) has today confirmed the opening of its new office in Jakarta. The office is located in Menara Prima, in the heart of Jakarta’s thriving central business district, bringing it closer to DSTi’s many local clients in Jakarta.

DSTi Indonesia Director Liz East talked about DSTi’s commitment to the Indonesian market: “DST International has been operational in Jakarta for 3 years and in that time we have built a very good reputation here. Our client base is growing to a point where we have had to expand our team and in doing so we have outgrown our old offices. We have really focused on deepening our understanding of the Indonesian market, and have brought a number of local experts with international experience in Australia, Singapore and the US in to join our team. The addition of these new members to our team has really strengthened our local knowledge and allowed us to mesh that with our understanding of international business practices.”

Prior to the opening ceremony, a team of technical experts from DSTi across Asia worked to set up the new office’s advanced technical infrastructure. This ensured that a smooth shift to the new office would be achieved and that there was no disruption to DSTi’s 24/7 client support services.

Commenting on the new technical facilities, Support Manager Joko Tasman said, “Having previously worked for DSTi in Australia, I think the company has really shown its commitment to Indonesia with the new office. DSTi’s new Jakarta office is a world class facility.”

The new offices in Jakarta have been greatly expanded to allow DSTi to provide a state-of-the-art training centre for its clients.

DSTi’s Professional Services Manager Muhammad Iqbal commented on the new training centre: “As we have worked closely with our clients, we have found that many of them want more support and training, not just an off-the-shelf product. DSTi’s new training facility meets that need. At DSTi, our products provide high quality business solutions and have been developed and upgraded continuously with extra functions, easy to use interfaces, faster processing times, in addition to the new functions, which are being added at our clients’ request. We provide the facility for ongoing training and highly trained staff capable of utilizing the systems expertly. In the long term, this helps to reduce the cost of ownership of our solutions by making staff more capable and more confident.”
