Aimed at a broad cross-section of professionals from the Algerian banking sector, this event is designed to help participants exchange their experiences and knowledge. Chaired by Daniel Vigneron, editor in chief of African Banker, the seminar will start with a talk by Julie Noir de Chazournes, Director of Global Financial Services at Atos Origin, who will present an overview of Customer Relationship Management in a retail bank. Patrice de Villeroy, consulting services manager for Africa at Deloitte will then discuss the challenges and outlook for the industrialisation of the Algerian banking sector. One of the highlights of this event will also be a presentation by Pedro Pereira, Assistant Director and Manager of the Administrative Department at BPN Bank (Banco Português de Negócios), who will provide practical examples of the benefits and relevance of Viveoâs software solutions.
The seminar will conclude with a talk by Gérard Batisse, Director at Viveo, about V.bank, the most successful global banking software package on the European market and, in the near future, in North Africa. Unrivalled to date, this integrated banking solutionâs function-rich software is based on the very latest technology (web 2.0, SOA). V.bank rises to the challenges facing Algerian banks to reduce operating costs, rapidly develop new products, enhance production and security, and offer customers a coherent range of services. V.bank from Viveo ensures that Algerian banks are able to manage and optimise every facet of their activity, and more specifically their relations with their customers, while looking ahead to the challenges of the future.
As Gérard Batisse, Director at Viveo, confirms: âA country with a strong economic potential and a privileged partner of Europe and France, Algeria aims to become one of the regionâs leading players, particularly in the banking sector. Naturally, we wanted to increase our presence in this market, which is expected to benefit from major investment, and to play a role in meeting the challenges of the Algerian banking sector in the future. This event forms part of our strategy to expand in the Mediterranean area, and particularly in Algeria.
