Sage Serves Middle East Clients From Dubai

24 November 2008

With great confidence and unwavering belief, SAGE SA from Switzerland opened up its new branch in the main hub of Information Technology in the GCC, at the Dubai Internet City, right in the heart of Dubai, UAE. Following its successes in Europe and in South East Asia, SAGE decided to expand to the Middle East with a new office and with their flagship banking software, Prospero.

Sage Advanced Solutions FZ-LLC was established in Dubai so that it can be closer to its clients all over the GCC. Despite the financial crisis, SAGE believes that there is huge potential in the region and a strong need as well to systemize and organize processes in financial institutions.

As Jean-Luc Freymond, CEO of SAGE states: our banking system, Prospero will not only streamline the banking processes in the Middle East, but we will also bring our expertise in swiss banking to the region.

Tarek Hamdan, CMO of Sage, adds: We are confident that even though markets are going through tough times, the GCC will remain upbeat and that now is the time for financial institutions to invest for the near future, for the comeback growth of their industry.

Hamdan will be heading the whole GCC from the office’s operations in Dubai. Sage also has a branch in Singapore which handles the South East Asian operations.
