The acquisition opens ISIâs international customer network to BPR BENCHMARK, presenting new markets around the world for BPRâs products. It accelerates ISIâs growth in Colombia by enabling ISI to introduce its global emerging market services to BPRâs Colombian customer base, and by expanding ISIâs physical presence in the country. It also continues ISIâs strategy of building its regional and global emerging markets information services through the acquisition of local online information providers.
BPR was founded in 1995 by principals Enrique Brando and Guillermo Rico. Both will remain with BPR and manage the business post the transaction, and will lead the expansion program of BPR BENCHMARK products overseas.

Commenting on the acquisition, ISIâs Executive Vice President for Marketing and Product Development James Hammond said: âOperationally, BPR BENCHMARK extends our Latin American footprint into Colombia. BPR will represent, sell and support our products in Colombia, which they are excited to introduce to their local customer base, and ISI will help BPR find new customers through our international network. We will also extend the BPR Credit Risk and Marketing products to other countries in Latin America and eventually to other emerging markets around the world.â
