Eurobase releases NDF functionality into its Siena e-Trading Solution

London - 10 March 2008

Eurobase, a global leader in the supply of e-Trading software, has now released NDF (Non Deliverable Forward) functionality within its Siena e-Trading Solution.

NDF functionality has been supported within the Siena core application for a number of years and following customer demand, Eurobase has extended this to its market leading Siena eTrading Solution.

Siena NDF price streaming capability extends to any multi-bank platform, trading platform or channel that supports this functionality via off the shelf or bespoke adaptors provided by Eurobase.

The Siena e-Trading Solution consists of three products. Siena Rate Manager automates the essential functions for banks engaged in e-trading, enabling them to accept and consolidate multiple price feeds, blend, spread or skew prices, then sanity check them against market tolerance and volatility. The Siena Gateway provides a strategic tool for the near-zero latency streaming of prices to various channels, e-FX multi-bank platforms and proprietary platforms. Siena eTrader is a real-time web-based execution platform that operates at near-zero latency.

David Mallinder, Business Development Director at Eurobase Banking Solutions, commented, “We are delighted to offer our customers the ability to e-trade NDFs and help them access the revenue potential from this growing area of the market. Our ability to offer price streaming and execution capabilities in non vanilla products is a key strength of our Siena e-Trading Solution. We are currently in the process of expanding system functionality to include other non standard asset classes.”
