Mr. Beardsell joins Misys from salesforce.com where he was Regional Vice President Sales and Operations and was instrumental in building up the Asian operations of salesforce.com. Prior to salesforce.com, Graeme was Director of Asia Pacific Telecom Solutions in IBM Global Services based in Hong Kong.

During 2008, Misys has been extremely active in China and other countries in the wider region. In January this year, the company announced a strategic alliance with Digital China Financial Software Ltd. (DCFS), China's largest financial information technology (IT) service provider, to deliver a new, hosted, banking solution targeted at the estimated 30,000 small and medium-sized banks in China. Misys has also recently announced it is to provide capital markets software solutions for China Everbright Bank and Bank of China in China and Wing Hang Bank in Hong Kong.
