Submissions for IQ Excellence Awards are evaluated on a broad range of qualifications by some of the Six Sigma communityâs most experienced practitioners like Steven Tao of GE Consumer and Industrial, Kerri Gill of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Shishir Prasad of UBS Investment Bank, Yam Hong See of Seagate Technology, William Yang of Owens Corning and Reiko Tanaka of Sony Corporation, thus lending the awards exceptional credibility.
Satyam BPOâs awards come on the heels of two other recent honors for the organization. It bagged the Shared Services Excellence Awards in the âBest BPO Service Providerâ and âBest Customer Service Delivery Frameworkâcategories. Satyam BPO was also listed as the number two BPO by The Black Book of Outsourcing.
"It is a real honor for Satyam BPO to receive such prestigious awards,â said Satyam BPO Chief Executive Officer Venkatesh Roddam. âThese honors demonstrate the success of our efforts to provide continuous process improvement, which helps us offer focused, superior service to customers, and enable them to focus on strategic initiatives."
The awards also reflect Satyam BPOâs commitment to the eSCM capability model, an approach to BPO developed by the IT Services Qualification Center (ITsqc) at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Penn. In fact, Satyam BPO is the worldâs first BPO organization to achieve eSCM Level 5 certification.
âAt Satyam BPO, we look for transformational opportunities in client processes from the very first interaction,â said Kishore Rao, the vice president of quality at Satyam BPO. âSix Sigma programs help us in these committed transformation efforts, through rapid and sustained creation of value.â
