Pendo Systems Continues Expansion with New Appointments

Pendo Systems, Inc., a leading provider of financial accounting solutions, today announced that it has added several new hires to the rapidly expanding team of employees. The new employees include:
• Nathan Bell – Principal Architect\Engineer
• David Coad – Director of Sales
• David Cohen – Director of Presales Engineering
• Jeffrey Diorio – Vice President, Client Services
• Igor Krasnyi – Senior Software Engineer
• Anne Pruitt – Software Developer
• Daniel Swinehart, C.P.A. – Vice President, Finance

Nathan Bell is a Principal Architect/Engineer at Pendo Systems. He brings more than 13 years experience in product development and information technology to the company. Previously, Mr. Bell was the Lead Software Engineer at Ascentium, where he led his team through planning and implementation of the integrations of the company’s enterprise systems. He also served as the Lead Software Engineer at Zetron and Principal Software Architect at Instinet/Kershner Trading Group. Mr. Bell has a B.S. in computer science from St. Edwards University.

David Coad, Director of Sales at Pendo Systems, was most recently the head of the Americas region for FRSGlobal where he specialized in regulatory and financial reporting solutions. Prior to leading FRSGlobal, Mr. Coad was a partner in the investment technology consultancy BusinessEdge Solutions. He has more than twenty years of experience including a role as Managing Principal in IBM Global Services’ investment management group. He was also a Managing Director of Japan for SunGard in their Trust and Shareholder Systems Group. Prior to SunGard, Mr. Coad was employed by TPG Financial Systems in sales and marketing, Digital Equipment Corporation in financial services sales and marketing, and Emerson Electric in quality assurance. Mr. Coad lived in Japan for eight years and has extensive business experience throughout Asia and Europe. He received a B.A. in history from Grinnell College. Mr. Coad is member of the Grinnell College Alumni Council, a life member of the Grinnell College Alumni Association of Japan, the Japan Society and the Asia Society.

With more than 25 years of experience with financial services and technology, David Cohen brings significant experience to his role as the Director of Pre-Sales Engineering at Pendo Systems. He has a specialization in understanding problems facing banking, asset and wealth management, designing solutions and effectively communicating these solutions. Previously, Mr. Cohen has been responsible for pre-sales and business consulting with Odyssey Financial Technologies and Integrated Decision Systems, presenting portfolio management solutions to top tier asset and wealth management firms. Prior to these positions, he had P&L responsibility and headed IT for a publishing firm meeting presentation and reporting requirements and worked in a large regional bank responsible for designing, roll-out and training end-users on a branch platform automation initiative. Mr. Cohen has a B.S. in Chemistry from New College of Florida.

Jeffrey Diorio, Vice President of Client Services, was most recently the Director of Client Services at SS&C Technologies where he was responsible for rebuilding the client services group and improving overall company operations. Mr. Diorio also held various product, sales and business development roles at Sungard Treasury System, Telerate Systems and Kidder, Peabody and Co. He has a B.A. in mathematics from Northwestern University. Mr. Diorio is also a Certified Cash Manager (CCM).

Igor Krasnyi is a Senior Software Engineer at Pendo Systems. Previously, he held web development positions at companies including Microsoft, T-Mobile and Getty Images. Mr. Krasnyi also served as a software developer, engineer and instructor at various corporations in Moscow. He attended the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and received an M.A. from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
Anne Pruitt has more than 25 years of experience in information systems, and is serving as is a Software Developer at Pendo Systems where has been the lead developer of BasisPoint since 2005. Prior to joining Pendo Systems, she was the lead developer for a producer commission tracking system (insurance), an n-tier system with multiple DBMS back ends. Ms. Pruitt also was the lead Powerbuilder developer for the Variable Life Illustration Project at Merrill Lynch. She has held roles at PeopleSoft/Oracle and for several years worked as an independent consultant. Ms Pruitt holds an M.S. in psychology from the University of Georgia at Athens.

Daniel Swinehart is Vice President of Finance of Pendo Systems. Prior to joining Pendo Systems, he held various roles at UPSTREAM (formerly Rosenbluth International) including serving as the Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President of Finance and Human Resources and Director of Corporate Finance at). In these capacities, Mr. Swinehart directed all corporate finance functions related to the company’s financial, human resources and administration for domestic and international operations. He also worked in an accounting and controller roles at Mutual Pharmaceuticals and John J. Heck and Associates. Mr. Swinehart has a B.A in Accounting from Harding University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
