Trustwave’s Robert J. McCullen Honored With CEO of the Year Award at ITA’s Ninth Annual CityLIGHTS Award Ceremony

The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) named Robert J. McCullen as the recipient of its Ninth Annual CityLIGHTS CEO of the Year Award, given to the CEO who has driven their company to new heights in the past year. Presented at the Awards Gala, held on April 3, 2008, CityLIGHTS Award winners honor outstanding information technology companies, executives and advocates in Illinois.

McCullen, chairman and CEO of Trustwave. “Trustwave has experienced tremendous global growth over the past year, yet it’s always been important to maintain our roots here in Illinois where we started our business. McCullen has more than 20 years of information security experience and has held management positions at some of the data security industry’s premier firms. He is chairman and CEO of Trustwave, with responsibility for all aspects of the firm's day-to-day operations. McCullen serves on the Electronic Transaction Association's (ETA) Board of Directors, the payment card industry’s premier trade association, as well as, the ETA’s Industry Relations Committee.
