First Atlantic Commerce and EVERTEC, Inc. expand online merchant transaction processing capabilities in Latin American Caribbean market

First Atlantic Commerce Ltd (FAC), a leading, Internet multi‐currency, payment and data management solutions provider, and EVERTEC, Inc. (“EVERTEC”), the Caribbean’s leading processor of electronic transactions, today announced FAC’s certification to EVERTEC’s e‐commerce processing platform in Puerto Rico.

FAC’s certification to EVERTEC means that FAC can now settle payment transactions to all merchant acquiring banks on EVERTEC’s Puerto Rico platform, providing merchants in the Latin American Caribbean Region (LACR) with additional payment gateway choices and redundancies, in addition tovalue added services currently unavailable.
