Comarch successfully implements the Comarch Debt Management system for the Allianz insurance group

14 November 2007

Comarch has successfully implemented the Comarch Debt Management system for the Allianz insurance group, where it was implemented simultaneously at two group companies: Allianz Poland (Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeniowe Allianz Polska SA) and Allianz Life Insurance Poland (Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeniowe Allianz Zycie Polska SA).

The system supports the debt collection process in the accounting, liquidation and legal departments. As part of this project, Comarch carried out analysis, implementation as well as user and administrator training. Comarch also actively supported future system users during acceptance tests.

The Comarch Debt Management system provides modern, comprehensive debt collection process management as well as liability data management, explains Jakub Lewandowski, Comarch Insurance Consulting Director. At Allianz, we implemented seven basic debt collection processes, voluntary and compulsory contributions as well as account settlements with the Allianz network of agencies and agents. Each new issue that arises is automatically proscribed a basic procedure along one of the 300 individual paths created for various investment products.

The Comarch Debt Management system was integrated with Allianz's existing software. Mass debt collection procedures involving document and correspondence generation were automated as a result of the implementation. The Comarch and Allianz implementation teams prepared over 100 document templates; thousands of mass printouts are created based on these templates on a monthly basis.
