In this new position, Mr. Burke will lead sales outreach to Jaywalk's institutional client base. He will focus on introducing money managers to the recently launched Jaywalk 360 service, which matches research from Jaywalk's global network of more than 150 independent research providers (IRPs) with each client's unique investment parameters and individual areas of interest, using performance screening to identify the IRPs best qualified to serve those interests. He will report to John D. Meserve, Director of BNY ConvergEx Group.
Mr. Burke comes to BNY ConvergEx Group with more than twenty years of equity sales trading experience, serving most recently as Managing Director and Head of Equity Sales Trading for Robertson Stephens. Previously, Mr. Burke worked as a sales trader at Cowen & Company, Furman Selz, and Paine Webber. He holds a B.S. from Fordham University in New York City.
