Brewin Dolphin Securities goes live with eXimius as Portfolio Management Solution

London - 30 January 2007

Brewin Dolphin Securities Limited (‘BDS’), the largest independent private client investment manager has gone live with, eXimius, the front office investment and portfolio management solution.

After an intensive implementation track, BDS has gone live with the eXimius Portfolio Management solution.

“This is a major step in BDS’ strategic choice to create one single integrated work bench environment for all our investment managers”, states Simon Still, COO from Brewin Dolphin Securities. “It is part of our vision to have a web based front office system, which provides a single integrated application for front office staff to input client information, manage investment portfolios, create and execute orders and carry out reporting and analysis work.” Mr. Still continues. “We consider this the crucial first step which will be followed by the roll out of the eXimius Order Management System and the eXimius Client Standing Data modules later this year.”

“Looking at not just the quality of the software, but also at the determination, willingness and quality of services delivered by both the Brewin Dolphin and eXimius staff involved in the implementation, it is my personal conviction that we picked the best possible solution for BDS.” Mr. Still concludes.

“For us this is a great moment to share with the Private Client Investment Management community” adds Peter Schramme, CEO of eXimius nv. “The amount of (5 years) historical data that was migrated to the eXimius system is massive and proves that our people, products and organisation are totally scaleable to this enterprise level. This is large implementation of multiple sites and data capacity. It is a web based Microsoft .Net platform providing an excellent environment for running an application like eXimius. It is very rewarding to see this happening.”
