Cordys solution achieves “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” status Solution optimises interoperability with SAP® solutions

6 August 2007

Cordys, provider of an industry-leading Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) based on an integrated SOA architecture, today announced that Cordys 4.2 has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” status.

The Cordys solution has been proven to interact and exchange information within SAP® solution-based environments. Cordys was able to complete the certification very quickly due to the purity of the Cordys architecture, which was built entirely from the ground-up on SOA principles.

"We are delighted to announce the successful achievement of the Powered by SAP NetWeaver status for Cordys” said Loek van den Boog, CEO of Cordys. “The ability of Cordys’ technology to leverage the business potential of assets provided by SAP and other vendors will prove highly beneficial to current and future customer engagements.”

The SAP Integration and Certification Centre has certified that Cordys 4.2 properly integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to exchange critical data with instances of the SAP Business Suite. Cordys has also demonstrated that Cordys 4.2 integrates successfully with the SAP NetWeaver Portal.

As a result of the certified integration, Cordys now supports the orchestration and execution of web services that are exposed by the SAP NetWeaver XI component. By using Cordys to create user-centric, intuitive interfaces on top of business processes, Cordys can seamlessly represent user interfaces as iViews within the SAP NetWeaver Portal or directly within a Web-browser.

Cordys achieved this in conjunction with assistance from Ctac, an SAP Services Partner and SAP Channel Partner based in the Netherlands and Belgium.
