GigaSpaces, Inc. announced today that Gartner, Inc. positioned the company in the visionaries quadrant in its ”Magic Quadrant” analysis of the Enterprise Application Servers (EAS) market. GigaSpaces is the inventor of space-based architectures which easily and robustly scale complex business-critical applications. Space-based architecture is a new paradigm that incorporates, in a holistic approach, many of the emerging trends in the IT industry, including grid computing and services-oriented architecture (SOA). GigaSpaces is the first software provider that embeds space-based computing principles into a software platform, enabling organizations to get linear scalability and continuous availability from their existing application environments.
