CUSTOMERS ASIA SENIOR APPOINTMENTS

Leading Australian Electronic Payments System Company Customers Limited (ASX:CUS) today announced key appointments to its joint venture company Customers ASIA Limited.

Mr Rob Broers has been appointed Managing Director and Mr Ken Gaunt a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Broers is currently General Manager Operations at Customers Limited. He has significant ATM operational experience having established the Customers operations team in early 2005. Prior to joining Customers Mr Broers had a long history in senior management roles in the ATM industry including Pulse International, Cashcard Australia Limited and Electronic Banking Solutions Pty Limited. Mr Broers will relocate to China in the next few months.

Mr Gaunt is a well regarded businessman who has extensive experience in start-up operations and in particular with ATM deployer businesses. Mr Gaunt was the founding Managing Director and largest shareholder in Electronic Banking Solutions Pty Limited from 1999 to 2004. EBS became Australia~s largest ATM deployer with some 2,500 ATMs prior to its acquisition by Cashcard Australia in 2004. Mr Gaunt was also a Director and significant shareholder in Cashcard Australia Limited prior to its sale in April 2004. Mr Gaunt has extensive business interests and investments and is a shareholder in Customers Limited.

The Managing Director of Customers Limited, Mr Greg Baker, said today, "We are very pleased with these appointments. Mr Broers is a very experienced manager who will bring the right skills to lead our Asia expansion. We are also delighted to have engaged Mr Gaunt to assist us with our business development with an initial focus in Asia. I am confident both Rob and Ken will give our expansion plans considerable momentum.
