Hong Kong’s BestServe Financial renews Bravura Solutions contract for a further five years

30 January 2006

Sydney: Bravura Solutions (Bravura) today announced that BestServe Financial Limited (BestServe), the Hong Kong-based pensions administration member of Canada’s Sun Life Financial group of companies, has renewed its license for Bravura’s superannuation application, SuperB, for another five years.

Mr Yam Chi-fai, Senior Vice President, Operations, Group & Pensions of Sun Life Financial Hong Kong part of Sun Life Financial Group of Companies said Bravura’s SuperB application has provided superior product functionality for our back office and online presence.

“The software’s high level of flexibility has enabled us not only to customise the SuperB application to cater for the Hong Kong market, but to administer two distinct pension markets: new Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) and existing private funds under old legislation (Occupational Retirement Scheme Ordinance).”

“The Bravura team has provided BestServe with outstanding support enabling us to be one of Hong Kong’s largest pension administrators,” Mr Chi-fai said.
SuperB was originally chosen by BestServe for its ability to manage its business under Hong Kong’s Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes legislation.

“BestServe is one of Hong Kong’s largest providers of pension administration, administering more than HK$15 billion for over 300,000 customers. Bravura is delighted BestServe has renewed its license for another five years”, said Iain Dunstan, Chief Executive Officer of Bravura Solutions.

“BestServe is a longstanding customer of Bravura and we look forward to supporting BestServe’s customers and business with superannuation applications,” Mr Dunstan said.
