London â 6 February, 2006 â Tullett Prebon Information, a leading provider of real-time money markets, interest rate derivatives and fixed income price information from the inter-dealer market, today announced the launch of SwapMarker Plus, an enhanced version of SwapMarker. SwapMarker Plus offers additional pricing data, covering twelve currencies, for out-of-the money interest rate options as well as inflation-linked bonds, to global financial institutions including dealers, commercial banks, asset management firms and hedge funds.
The newly available data, sourced from the award-winning global broking desks of Tullett Prebon, includes real-time pricing for interest rate volatilities, caps, floors, skews and inflation-linked options pricing. The data is available as a bundled add-on to the existing SwapMarker service, or in separate modules: SwapMarker Volatility⢠and SwapMarker Inflationâ¢. End users determine how they receive SwapMarker Plus: as an optional service on Reuters or Bloomberg terminals; direct via a Tullett Prebon Information feed or via the internet through the companyâs PageViewer application. The service is functionally rich, with dynamic Microsoft Excel links that update automatically and composite pages that summarize the data points.
âWith the current interest rate environment and increased volatilities, there is a greater demand for interest rate information in the marketplace,â said G. Andrea Danese, Chief Executive Officer, Tullett Prebon Information. âWe are pleased to be one of the first information providers to offer this premium service, which up until now has not been readily available. SwapMarker Plus enables traders and risk managers to gain additional insight into interest rate movements, helping them to better manage risk. SwapMarker Plus continues our reputation for providing high quality, trusted data that helps our clients stay ahead of their competitors.â
The introduction of SwapMarker Plus follows the long-standing success of SwapMarker, the market leading real-time price reference tool for global interest rate derivatives and currency swaps.
