Orascom Telecom Selects Ditech Communications’ Voice Processing Platform with VQA™ To Improve Voice Quality for its Mobile Subscribers

Ditech's Voice Quality Assurance ™ Solution is Being Deployed in ORASCOM TELECOM ’s Mobilink Network in Pakistan and Djezzy Network in Algeria

Mountain View, California, February 13, 2006 - Ditech Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DITC) has announced that Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E., a leading mobile telecommunications company in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, has selected Ditech Communications’ Voice Quality Assurance (VQA™) embedded on its Quad Voice Processor (QVP) platform to deliver improved voice quality to subscribers across its mobile network.

Mobilink, a leading GSM operator in Pakistan, and Djezzy, a leading GSM operator in Algeria, are the initial Orascom networks to deploy Ditech’s VQA. These deployments will represent Ditech’s largest installations of VQA in these regions and signify acceptance of this powerful voice processing technology to improve call clarity and performance of mobile networks. The deployments upgrade portions of two of Orascom’s largest networks, elevating network performance and customer satisfaction through the use of advanced voice processing technology.
