Sunopsis Achieves 64% Increase in Year-to-Year Revenue and Fifth Consecutive Year of Profitability

Leading Integration Vendor Grows Worldwide Business, Gains Market Recognition, Signs Strategic Alliances

Sunopsis, a technology innovator in the integration market, today announced that its total revenue for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005 grew by 69% over the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004. This past fiscal year was marked by the ramp-up of European operations, the acquisition of new large customers, and the signature of strategic alliances.

Some of the new clients acquired during this period include leading online retailer, telecommunication company Caudwell, supermarket giant Auchan, global shipping company ANL Container Line, and pharmaceutical company Expanscience. Other companies, such as financial software specialist GoldenSource or printing management software vendor EFI, are embedding Sunopsis’ integration software into their own product lines.

During the fiscal year, the company also reinforced its operations in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Singapore. Sunopsis also has an established network of specialized international distributors supporting Sunopsis operations in other countries. In total, Sunopsis operates in 24 countries in the world.

The fiscal year was also marked by Sunopsis gaining new market recognition. In May 2005, Gartner released the latest version of their "Magic Quadrant for ETL", in which Sunopsis was recognized as a "Visionary". Prior to that, in December 2004, Forrester Group had named Sunopsis a "Strong Performer" in their "Forrester Wave for Enterprise ETL Tools". And according to Philip Howard from Bloor Research, "Sunopsis has established itself as one of the leading vendors within this [integration] market."

During this period, Sunopsis has announced and released version 4 of it’s integration product, the Sunopsis Active Integration Platform – a unified integration solution that covers all three integration approaches – through the data, through the events and through the services – with a single methodology and set of metadata.
