Firm hires former Reuters executive to lead new business development;
opens Philadelphia office

Warrenville, IL. October 11, 2005 – 29West, Inc., the Chicago-based developer of high-performance messaging software solutions, today announced that the firm is expanding its operations to the East Coast in response to strong demand for its services in the financial services industry.

29West will open an office in Philadelphia, PA, in order for the company to provide close support to many of its East Coast customers. The company also plans to open an office in New York City later this year. The Philadelphia office will be headed by Rick Van Schoick, who was recently appointed as Director of East Coast Sales. Mr. Van Schoick will be responsible for new business development in the region.

Mr. Van Schoick comes to 29West Inc. as a 20-year industry veteran of the financial technology industry.

Prior to joining 29West, Mr. Van Schoick was responsible for new business development with Reuters and its subsidiaries, and Spectra Securities Software, Inc.
