Presentation: Macyâs and Federated â the challenges of online fraud within a retail operation.
ReD chief executive Carl Clump will present a case study on Tue 7 June at 14.30 outlining how ReD has reduced the cost of managing online fraud for US retail group Federated. ReD has maximised Macyâs safe transactions whilst minimising their exposure to fraud but most importantly, ReD has delivered to Federated a significant increase in revenue and a decrease in costs.
News: PoS internet connectivity
For the first time, ReD will showcase its new multi-site retail solution. Itâs a high-speed, internet-based payment card processing service. With this new offering, card-based payment transactions will now be processed at speeds of three to five seconds, a notable reduction in time compared to traditional dial offerings.
The service includes the call routers that communicate between the point of sale and the network, the payment processing and fraud prevention solution and the IP Communication Networks. The network is equipped to maximize the benefits of the Internet plus it is cost-effective and easy to install. Demonstrations will be on stand K20.
ReD is famous for its highly resilient, fully managed and outsourced multi-channel payment service which links merchants, acquirers, card schemes and issuers by capturing payment details and transmitting the transaction to card associations for authorisation and settlement. It also provides easy access to ReDâs value-added payment services such as card fraud prevention, cardholder authentication and dynamic currency conversion.
ReD offers one single point of integration with clientsâ existing systems, making payment transactions simple and secure. Credit cards, debit cards, cheques, e-money including PayPal, e-top up and e-gift vouchers are processed and authorised in seconds, so retailers can maximise sales with ease across all geographical boundaries.
